Inmates and Prisoner Facts  Did you know that there are 243,956 probationers and 17,603 parolees in Ohio? The Dept. of Rehabilition and Correction manages 49,166 inmates and operates 33 facilities.

Over the past four years that I have taught this class, hundreds of students have become knowledgeable of what the general public is capable of researching about them and what they can research about others.  

No longer must people live in the dark ages of the hidden lies, deceitfulness, and outright dangerous situations that others can cause to them because of someone's past or present history.

Churches
Pastors, Elders, and Deacons, do you research your parishoners before allowing them to volunteer to watch the children? Many criminals hide in our very own churches daily and no one bothers to research anyone. This class is a must for you for the protection of your own parish!

Dating
Parents and prospective dating partners from ages 18 to 99, are you too trustworthy? Do you believe in anything anyone tells you?

People are killed regularly when folks just like you trust the person they are dating only to find out that person is an ex-con, or a sexual preditor! This class is a must for you for the protection of yourself and your children!

Employers
We live in a strange society where people lie, cheat, and steal. Anyone will tell you whatever you want to hear, but researching them before you hire them is a must! Have they filed BWC claims left and right with other employers? Did they lie about their age? Are they a criminal? These and other important facts you will be able to research after taking this course.  This class is a must for you for the protection of yourself!

Landlords
Are you tired of taking in dead beat renters? Do you find that you are spending more time and money in court trying to evict your tenants then what you are making? After taking this class, you will be able to see how many lawsuits those tenants have had in the past as well as their criminal history. Some tenants may not have am extensive credit report depending upon their age, so obtaining a credit history may not help you, but you will be able to find out any lawsuits pending or ended. This class is a must for you for the protection of yourself!

Throughout my life, I had experienced many unfortunate occurrences in which I found myself involved in sticky situations. I, like many of you reading this was taken advantage of by multiple businesses, people, and even an ex-husband who turned out to be a polygamist! I found myself having to research much information if I wanted to prove my case and save some money in lawyer's fees as well as win my cases in Small Claim's Court and be able to locate assets afterwards.

After learning about numerous free websites and  how to obtain free public information, I decided to start a class on personal investigations and teach the public how to research valuable information. This acquired knowledge led to the class titled I Smell Something Fishy.
